St Bartholomews in Coffinswell is a 12th
century church, the capacity for films,
Villages in Action and music events is 75,
the seating arrangements involve the
pews and comfier seats further towards
the back so, for your added comfort, we advise you to bring
a cushion. At most events there will be refreshments,
generally comprising of tea, coffee, biscuits
and homemade cakes. The superb film equipment we have
includes a 3 metre x 2.25 metre screen, sony blu-ray player
and a superb Bose pa system, all of which were purchased
with help from local fund raising and a generous donation from the Kingskerswell SummerMoon Festival in recognition of all the voluntary work thatvillagers, in Coffinswell and Daccombe, contribute to this
wonderful annual event. We are slowly developing a library
of DVDs we have shown, which are available to hire by
local residents, please contact Kate or Graham for details.
St Bartholomews is just a 100 metres from the Linny Inn
why not arrive early for Film nights and have a drink or
meal first, the Linny opens at 7pm (but please phone them
first on 01803 873192 if you require a meal) and films start at 8pm.
