COFFINSWELL AND DACCOMBE
EVENTS COMMITTEE
This committee reviews proposals for self-organised activities in Coffinswell parish church
Members of the events committee
Michele Berry, Gordon Bower, Clive Harrington, Sally Harris, Gerda Hatton-
Ellis, Gwynn Hermsen, John Leonard, Diane Moore, Graham Radley, Kate Radley,
Fay Southwell, Roger Wills.
This membership, which is entirely voluntary, was agreed at the first
meeting of the committee on 4 August 2009, with the intention of representing:-
(a) residents of Coffinswell - Diane Moore and Fay Southwell
(b) residents of Daccombe - Sally Harris and Gerda Hatton-Ellis
(c) the Parochial Church Council - Michele Berry, Gordon Bower and John Leonard
(d) the parish council - Clive Harrington, Gwynn Hermsen and Roger Wills
Subsequently Graham and Kate Radley joined the committee, in view of their knowledge, skills and experience of entertainment events. They are now running the new social email network (September 2011)**
Membership of the Committee is open to any Coffinswell or Daccombe resident.
If you wish to join the Committee or simply help with social events, please contact
any of the people mentioned above.

In addition, details of most events are placed on the village noticeboards.
**The main reason for the new email network is to help promote more use of our parish church as a “village hall” where everyone can enjoy meeting their neighbours and friends. So it is inevitable that the majority of the messages will be about events in the church and they will be sent out under the auspices of the “Coffinswell and Daccombe Events Committee”.
